EXCEPTIONAL - October 2011
European Space Agency(ESA) chooses next two medium-class missions science missions, the first in ESA's Cosmic Vision 2015-2025: Solar Orbiter and EUCLID.More can be found here.

Romania contributes to EUCLID Mission through the Institute for Space Sciences supported by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA). This contribution is especially important because it is for the first time when Romania is an institutional partner in a medium-class scientific space mission.
This was made possible by ROSA with its succesfull efforts to include Romania in ESA and by the outstanding results obtained by ISS for PLANCK Mission.

On October 10 2011, a press conference was held by Dr. Lucia Popa and Dr. Vlad Popa, the representatives of the Institute for Space Sciences for EUCLID Mission and the head of ROSA, Dr. Marius Ioan Piso . You can watch a recording of the press conference directly on our web page (Romanian).
