the collaboration with the High Energy and Nuclear Reaction laboratories from
the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, USSR;
1972 - 1973:
stipend at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Frankfurt am Main, F.R.G., for
studying cosmic rays by AgCl monocrystals detectors. Measurements on the
detectors exposed on APOLLO missions.
1971 - 1974:
principal investigator for "Cosmic Ray Dosimetry at the Supersonic
Transport Level". First experiments on Romanian supersonic planes.
1974: beginning of the cooperation with
the INTERCOSMOS Program - Group for Cosmic Medicine and Biology, section
"Protection against Cosmic Rays", for studying the fluxes as well as
the energy and charge spectra of cosmic radiation in the circumterrestrial space
and for the estimation of their hazard.
1981: participant
at the scientific program of the cosmic flight of the first Romanian astronaut,
Dumitru Dorin Prunariu:
- Principal investigator of MINIDOSE and INTEGRAL experiments;
- Co-author of ASTRO 1, ASTRO 2 and IMMUNITY experiments;
