The 8th edition "AEROSPATIAL 2018" was held under the aegis of the Ministry of Research and Innovation, in the year celebrating the Centenary of the Great Union, using the brand "Conceived in Romania" with the main objective of increasing the visibility of the Romanian aviation research.

The "AEROSPATIAL" Conferences held within the National Institute for Aerospace Research "Elie Carafoli" - INCAS Bucharest (under the aegis of the Romanian Academy) are unique in Romania, being the best meeting space for local and foreign researchers in the field of aviation research, Space and Security for presenting, disseminating and promoting the scientific research and the technological development results.

At this prestigious conference, a special section was allocated to the CONTUR complex project for organizing a workshop. The included contributions presented the results obtained during the first months of project implementation and the future plans.
